While she may suggest different positions when needed, she trusts in your natural intuition to guide the process. She will also encourage communication of your birth preferences.
Your doula will be checking in with you daily during the first week postpartum to offer support and answer any immediate questions. You’ll also receive a gentle stretching and core rehab resource you can start using in bed to support healing during those early days.
This follow up visit takes place 1-3 weeks postpartum to process your birth experience, answer any questions, and provide resources or referrals to ensure you and your family feel fully supported.
