I’ve always been drawn to labor and delivery as a career path in which I earned my Bachelor’s in Community Health with a focus in Health Administration and Health Education. Through my experience in relationship and project management, I’ve gained a strong foundation working on public and community health initiatives, implementing programs for communities and managed coordination, communication, and logistics to help bring meaningful health services to life.
After having an all-natural and unmedicated birth of my son at a birth center, my eyes were opened to the world of birth workers. It was also a time where I entered into a deeply sacred place with God and my faith, which led me to pursue birth work as a doula and walk alongside other women in this season. My approach is rooted in compassionate, Christ-centered care, honoring the physiological process of birth while creating a peaceful and empowering environment for families. I believe that as a child is born, a mother is also renewed, strengthened in faith, purpose, and spirit through the sacred process of birth.
As a Christian birth doula, I will support you through pregnancy and labor, helping you feel informed, at peace, and confident in your choices. I will ensure you have the knowledge and information you need to make decisions and feel equipped to advocate for yourself, while creating space to trust your body and your journey. I also recognize the importance of support during labor, whether you come with a partner or a chosen support person, and I help ensure they feel prepared and confident in supporting you well. My goal is for you to feel steady, cared for, and empowered.
